• sObjective To observe and analyze the phosphorylated protein 1 (STIPI1) and estrogen receptor -α(ER-α) protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma , and analyze the correlation between the two and the occurrence and development of thyroid papillary carcinoma. Methods: 81 cases of patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma were selected , 81 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma tissues , 15 cases of normal thyroid tissues adjacent cancer tissues , 25 cases of metastasis of thyroid cancer tissues , 23 cases of simple Hashimoto's thyroiditis tissues accompanied by the bridge's thyroiditis , the expression and their correlation of STIP1 protein and ER- protein of each group were observed . Results: Protein positive rate of STIP1 of papillary thyroid carcinoma group and lymph node metastasis group were higher than those of Hashimoto's thyroiditis group and the control group, the positive rate of ER- protein was higher than that of Hashimoto's thyroiditis group and control group, and difference had statistical significance (P < 0.05). Spearman correlation analysis showed that STIP1 protein expression was positively correlated with ER- protein expression (r=0.458, P < 0.05). Conclusion: TIP1 protein and ER- protein have high expressions in papillary thyroid carcinoma, it may be involved in the occurrence, development and metastasis of papillary thyroid carcinoma, there is a positive correlation between the two expressions, it indicates that the two may play a synergistic role in the development of thyroid carcinoma, combined detection can predict the behavior of oncology.
